Rails - May 2008 - Any function to decode utf-8 encoded text in ruby??

Hello All,

Is there any function to decode utf-8 encoded text in ruby??

I googled and found that Unicode::deocde should do this, but it''s not
working??

Can anybody suggest me how to decode?
