[Announce] New Mac/Win Ruby on Rails Installation Articles
Hi all: As part of our LearningRails podcast (now morphing into a free online tutorial series), we''ve published four write-ups walking through installing a fairly vanilla Ruby on Rails development stack on Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5, as well as Windows XP and Vista. The write-ups should be generally useful even if you aren''t following the podcast and you are looking for another suggested path to setting up a new dev machine. We''ll be keeping these ever-green for our course and always welcome feedback. You can find them at: http://www.buildingwebapps.com/articles/17-setting-up-rails-on-leopard-mac http://www.buildingwebapps.com/articles/18-setting-up-rails-on-tiger-mac http://www.buildingwebapps.com/articles/19-setting-up-rails-on-windows-xp http://www.buildingwebapps.com/articles/20-setting-up-rails-on-windows-vista If you have any suggestions, feel free to leave it here or at the site. There is a comment box to the right of the articles if you want to make suggestions visible to readers of the articles.
