Rails - Feb 2008 - Markaby on Rails 2

I have been using Markaby in my application and have just started the
port to Rails 2. So far it looks like Markaby does not work in Rails 2.

Is Markaby still maintained? there seem to be no changes for Rails 2.

All I''ve found is one posting

that suggests modding the code but I''ve had little success with it.

Before I go and pull out my mab files and replace then with rhtml, I''d
like to hear what the current thinking is on Markaby and getting it
working with Rails 2.
