Attention Toronto Tech Community, Tuesday February 12th marks the return of the monthly TSOT Ruby on Rails Project Night, which promises to be another great event for Toronto''s Tech crowd. We had a tremendous response to our first Project Night, with over 50 in attendance at TSOT''s new developer office. February''s Project Night looks to be equally successful, and we will get deeper into the technical side of things (because that''s what you asked for!) We have been contacted by several Ruby on Rails developers who are eager to bring their current projects to share at our Monthly event. On February 12th we are proud to feature presentations from the following members of the Rails community: Rowan Hick on "How to avoid hanging yourself in Rails" (or optimising your activerecord associations) Mike Bowler and Steve Vetzal on helping new businesses to be memorable with EasyBrandingTools.com Luke Galea on the CRMS (Clinical Research Management System) from Medical Decision Logic, which is a Rails and Prolog/XSB application used to manage drug and procedure trials at the some of the biggest hospitals in the US. TSOT''s Ruby on Rails Project Night will take place on Tuesday February 12th, 2008 at our development office located at 151 Bloor Street West, Toronto. Doors will open at 5:30pm with presentations beginning at 6-6:30pm. This event is free but space is limited; reserve your spot today by emailing corina.newby-bAMLDQM/W+LowKkBSvOlow@public.gmane.org If you are interested in presenting at a future event or learning more about TSOT, please contact Corina at (416) 908-6082.
