There is 2 ways to install rails on your computer : 1. Online Installation a. first, make sure you have installed ruby and ruby gems 1. check ruby instalation (latest version 1.8.6) ruby -v 2. check ruby gems installation (latest version 0.9.2) gem -v b. then do the installation with execute command : gem install rails --include-dependencies or (to get spesific version) gem install rails -v=1.2.3 --include-dependencies 2.
