I''m writing a blog documenting my first Rails project
http://railsquest.wordpress.com I''m learning Rails by implementing an online version of the game Pente. I thought I''d blog about the process since I always learn better when I have to "teach" someone else what I''ve learned, and it never hurts to have another resource out there for new Rails developers. I am also hoping by getting feedback from the community I can enhance my learning and maybe even spark some discussion. I started by posting an introductory article linking to the resources I''ve found the most helpful, and posting some articles on the design decisions I made before starting the project. I''ll be posting regular updates as the project progresses. I''ll start out doing pretty detailed step-by-step articles, and slowly leave more up to the reader. At the end I''ll post articles documenting the deployment process as well. The idea is that if a new developer read the articles from beginning to end they would be as comfortable with Rails as I will hopefully become. I hope you''ll take a look! I welcome any feedback and comments. http://railsquest.wordpress.com Thanks, Jake --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group.
