Rails - Oct 2006 - RAILS_ROOT changed when uploaded to web server I think...

I just uploaded my app to Dreamhost and none of the pictures are being 
found. I think this is because the ROOT directory was changed. How can I 
fix this. I tried changing it in boot.rb, but no matter what I seem to 
do it breaks the app.

Im sure this has been encountered before and there is a probably an easy 
fix for this.
