Rails - Sep 2006 - file_column / acts_as_attachment and international characters

Hello,

I''m having some trouble getting international characters in filenames
to work with both file_column and acts_as_attachment. All the
"strange" characters get''s changed to underscores. Has anyone
managed
to get around this?
