Rails - Nov 2005 - Error object for 40* pages?

I put this in routes.rb:
map.connect ''*path'',
:controller=>''error'', :action=>''show''

and created an error controller and show view. Is there some error object
that''s available when
400 level errors occur which I can use to display related messages
(''not found'', etc.)?
