Has anyone tackled distributing a Rails application with Lighttpd? I have encountered the usual headaches with clients not wanting to jump through the hurdles required to get a Rails application up on running. Installing Ruby, RubyGem, Rails, mod_fastcgi, configuring Apache, all pose hurdles from some clients. My thinking is, create an installation process that simply includes Lighttpd to get the Rails application up and running quickly. The client can then tackle the other hurdles later, simply proxy or redirect to the Rail application. Any thoughts? -- Lon Baker
