I am trying to run Rails using MySQL on Windows. I have installed Ruby, run the gems installer for rails and mysql, and the default Rails page will work fine. But anything that involves connecting to the database server is crashing. The error is: ---- uninitialized constant mysql This error occurred while loading the following files: mysql.rb ---- The mysql_adapter is in the connection_adapters folder. Does someone have any sense of what is going wrong? I''ve run Rails on other Windows machines before without any problem, following the same installation steps.
