Rails - Mar 2005 - experimental rails rpm

I''ve put together an experimental rails rpm that includes all the
rails sub-libraries and doesn''t depend on or use the gem stuff.  I
wouldn''t recommend using this along with any gem-installed libraries. 
This is intended more as a convenience for people already invested in
rpm as a software distribution system.

Anyway, you can grab it here:

This should be all you need to get running execpt for other ruby libs
you might want (fcgi, db bindings etc).

Works ok for me on the two or three apps I''ve tested it with but I
wouldn''t throw this into production just yet.  Bug reports are
welcome.

Aredridel has kindly done a version that is FHS-compliant and also
skips the Gem stuff for the PLD Linux distribution:

You may want to have a look at that and her other Rails spec files
(ruby-Action*, ruby-Active*).
