R help - Mar 2013 - how to plot u-v wind by R?

hi R users:
   I have a dataset including u wind in x-axis and v wind in y-axis.
 How can I plot the u,v wind data in vector or  barb figure?
 which command ?

Hi Jie,
Maybe the vectorField function (plotrix)?
