CentOS - Mar 2013 - replacing joe

Morning everybody,

I am still using good old joe editor on my CentOS machines although it
is no longer included in the CentOS repositories.

Is there any comparable "wordstar" compatible editor that is part
of the standard distribution?

And no, I don't want to use Emacs. :-)

The editor joe is available through the EPEL repository.

Also worth bearing in mind that the author is doing development work
for a new edition. I hope he extends it to a basic word processor as
well.
