There are several versions of IE in winetricks but native browsers will work better. For saving passwords in FF I recommend you use the lastpass addon. John

[http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=25] AFAIK FF doesn't allow imports of password from IE, even on Windows, but only bookmarks. Maybe you could try something like lastpass/roboform to sync your passwords, or re-enter them in Linux Firefox, depending on your trust on third parties for pwd management. Those tools might also require you to re-enter your pwds, but I'm not sure. Fr?d?ric

[Wine] Re: Can I run Windows 7 Internet Explorer in Wine?
Download Windows Internet Explorer 8 for Windows XP from Microsoft and save it to your home directory. Now open a terminal and run $ wine IE8-WindowsXP-x86-ENU.exe The IE 8 install should now start, I didnt select the Windows security updates in my install.

See the applications database entry: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=17188 I recommend using winetricks to install IE8, rather than run the installer from Microsoft. James
