[Samba] Problem with netbios aliases and security 'domain'
Hi! I have the problem that a host can not with the 'netbios name' and the 'alias' in a domain. Under samba 2.x it can be done without any problem. My samba version is: 3.2.7 Netbios name: u10 Netbios aliases: u2 Host has only one IP. Security is 'domain'. When I type: # net rpc join MEMBER -U Administrator -n u10 I can join the domain. Access to u10 is successful. When I type: # net rpc join MEMBER -U Administrator -n u2 I can join the domain. Access to u2 is successful. But I can not connect to u10 anymore. Client: "The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed." Server-Log: [2009/11/02 10:24:09, 2] auth/auth.c:check_ntlm_password(318) check_ntlm_password: Authentication for user [user1] -> [user1] FAILED with error NT_STATUS_TRUSTED_RELATIONSHIP_FAILURE Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance! Regards Juergen
