samba - Aug 2008 - Samba mixed mode authentication [Ads and Users]

Hi,

How can I make samba to authenticate against Active directory and its local unix
accounts?

For some reason either the Domain or the Local account works but not both.
Eg in smb.conf:
security = ads
or
security = users

How to use both in Samba v3?

Does anyone knows how to do it?

I've read somewhere it's possible to run 2 instances of Samba so that
could
be workaround also it sounds like a bit of an overkill
