Dear All, I have having difficulty getting samba to prompt for a new password when the old one has expired. I can reset the password (smbpasswd) on the Solaris 10 (Generic_127111-06) samba server, but not from the client side (windows XP). It just keeps on prompting for a password. The logs say the password has expired. I have installed Solaris 8 version of samba 3.0.25a on a different Solaris box and this prompts me to renew the password. The client where I map the drive from is identical in both cases. I am sure it is something very silly I have overlooked. I would appreciate some feedback. If you need any more info please do not hesitate to contact me. Regards, Sean Beaven UNIX Support ING Bank n.v.
