Hi group, I know this sounds crazy, but... If I set 'logon path = ' users on windows xp clients can create a local profile (this is what we want). If I set 'logon path = "" ' users on windows xp clients are not able to create a local profile. Note that the second option is what man smb.conf recommends to disable roaming profiles, which we want to do. Can anyone explain the different results of the different parameters, or have you even seen this before? Thanks, Steve G
