[Samba] Establish trust with Win 2003 - ACCESS DENIED
Hi, I have a problem establishing a interdomain trust to Win2003 SP1 where the Windows domain is the trusted domain. The other direction, the samba domain is trusted by the windows domain, works without problem. When I try to establish the trust from the samba side, I get the following error: # net rpc trustdom establish T18 Could not connect to server JPTEST121 [2005/06/22 11:41:35, 0, effective(0, 0), real(0, 0)] rpc_client/cli_pipe.c:cli_nt_session_open(1451) cli_nt_session_open: cli_nt_create failed on pipe \wkssvc to machine JPTEST121. Error was NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED [2005/06/22 11:41:35, 0, effective(0, 0), real(0, 0)] utils/net_rpc.c:rpc_trustdom_establish(4672) Couldn't not initialise wkssvc pipe I think, my configuration is OK - so for me this looks like a bug. I've seen in the release notes for 3.0.12 that there was a bug, which should have been fixed in that release. But I use 3.0.14a. Can anybody confirm, that this kind of trust does really work ? Has anyone a working interdomain trust where Samba trusts a Windows 2003 AD domain ? Would be nice, if somebody could give me a hint. Thx in advance, Pierre Filippone
