I'm running Samba 3.0.9 on SLES9 as a domain member with an NT4 PDC, using winbind to authorise domain users. I have set up a general share for all users which works fine and is accessible by all users but I am unable to set up the home shares correctly. When attempting to connect via smbclient I get the following:- tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED What does this mean and where should I be looking in order to try to correct this? I have run wbinfo which seems ok and getent passwd and group both show users and groups as expected. I have googled and read through the howtos and examples on samba.org but cannot seem to find the answer. Any help would be appreciated. Rob

You need to test with the fully- qualified username (domain\\user) however.
