I have a system where all files deleted go to a trash bin. Files in the trash bins are deleted daily, based on age, by a cron script. http://mandrake.vmlinuz.ca/bin/view/Main/SambaThreeDomainController#Recycle_Bins_for_Your_Shares You could always do something like make the recycle bin a hidden share etc.> We are using samba.
