Hello All, I'm having an odd problem with one user, he connects just fine to the Samba share but immediately get's an access denied message. The only thing out of the ordinary that I can see in the log file is the snippet below. The configuration is 3.0.4 on RedHat compiled with winbind and smbmount as a member server to a mixed mode Win2k domain. The output of smbd -b & smb.conf gladly sent, Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Mike Logfile is next: #$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$ [2004/08/04 09:58:55, 3] smbd/error.c:error_packet(114) error packet at smbd/nttrans.c(854) cmd=162 (SMBntcreateX) NT_STATUS_FILE_IS_A_DIRECTORY [2004/08/04 09:58:55, 5] lib/util.c:show_msg(456) [2004/08/04 09:58:55, 5] lib/util.c:show_msg(459) size=35 smb_com=0xa2 smb_rcls=186 smb_reh=0 smb_err=49152 smb_flg=136 smb_flg2=51201 smb_tid=2 smb_pid=1508 smb_uid=101 smb_mid=576 smt_wct=0 smb_bcc=0 [2004/08/04 09:58:55, 3] smbd/process.c:process_smb(890) Transaction 11 of length 90 [2004/08/04 09:58:55, 5] lib/util.c:show_msg(456) [2004/08/04 09:58:55, 5] lib/util.c:show_msg(459) size=86 smb_com=0xa2 smb_rcls=0 ---------------------------------------------------- This mailbox protected from junk email by MailFrontier Desktop from MailFrontier, Inc. http://info.mailfrontier.com
