samba - Apr 2003 - Allowing laptop users to have off-line copies of thei r Samba home directories.

XP will allow you to manually redirect the "My Documents" folder to
another
location (local or server based).  You can then enable "Off-line"
files (Control
Panel - Folder Options) for the My Documents directory and setup synchronization
at logon or logoff or scheduled.  If you are using Microsoft AD, all this can be
setup in a Group Policy.
