Ok, this error confuses me. When I try to mount a share as a normal user, I get an error about that smbmount must be setuid root for user mounts. I then do a chmod +s on smbmount and tries again. This time, the error says that libsmb based programs cannot be setuid root! What?! I mean come on! How can I solve this? I don't want to be logged in as root just to be able to mount samba shares? I'm using samba 2.2.4. -- Anders Lind?n http://freebits.de/magma Death is Gods way of telling you not to be such a wise guy
