Hi all WINE Experts. I am doing some work on SOLIDWORKS 2009 and I am very happy that most of it I can do on LINUX ( with wine ).. but I have found a new problem (for me) while making some drawings. a hole bottom bar is missing. where you can add a sheet, this is not a big problem I can add a sheet from the main bar (file or edit ... ) The Big problem (The main issue) is writing letters (text) on the sheet. the editor opens but when writing some words nothing seems to appears. I used winetricks: msxml6, vcrun2005, ie6.. wine ver. 1.2 Thanks in advance Assaf
asafhacohen wrote:> wine ver. 1.2Try upgrading this first. Latest development Wine version is wine-1.3.17.
Same thing seems to be happening with SW2010 and wine 1.3.17.
Bottom bar appears to be visible, and works almost. Right clicking it starts the correct context menu, but after you move mouse to click for something then it opens up "customize menu" -menu on top of the correct menu. Editing annotations does not show the texts in boxes and also the font dialog shows some pretty odd sizes for fonts.

[Wine] Re: Drawing: sheet format edit in SOLIDWORKS 2009
Hi I cheeked SW2009 with wine 1.3.17 and had the same results like the user sniveri . the bottom bar is visible, but does not work exactly like it should, after some clicks it bring up the customize menu from the upper bar. anyway writing letters on the shit is not possible, the letters do not appears on the shit. any ideas ?
Have to look if I could cook up a macro for editing selected annotation.
asafhacohen, please confirm if you can run swp macros in your SWx installation in wine, please?
