wine users - Sep 2010 - File Manager

New Wine user question:
I need to add a folder to an invoicing application. The program installed and is
running. However, there is a folder I need to add into the directory where it
resides. Is there a way to enter data into the simulated windows file directory.
So far my attempts have not worked.

Yes. Your fake C drive is located in $HOME/.wine/drive_c/. Note that .wine is a
hidden directory, so press ctrl+H in your file manager to make hidden items
visible.

You may try to install Far Manager (http://farmanager.com/download.php?l=en) as
well. Version 2.0 is free, open source and runs well under wine. In fact, I
prefer it to mc when possible.
