I see that one of the to-do's is to add a SmartTee filter to avicap32.dll. I have a microscope camera that is based upon a webcam (that I cannot set the proper resolution under Linux- and haven't gotten help to do so). I have software and drivers that will work in VirtualBox, but there is a 5 second delay between moving a slide in the window and the move showing up in the software window. The same drivers installed OK on Wine, but I cannot run the camera because of this problem. When will avicap32.dll be updated to include the SmartTee filter? Is there a workaround?? I'm fairly new at Linux and Wine- I've been around, but there are a lot of things I do not know.. such as figuring out what's wrong and how to fix it. The webcam I'm trying to use is an Empia Technology 2750 based unit (1.3mp). The software (which works except for the camera driver) is Micam 1.4. The lack of a SmartTee filter is the only thing stopping me from using my microscope- which I hope to use to start earning a living.
