wine users - Mar 2010 - Commence 2000 - need help

Commence 2000 is CRM. 
A few years agoe a full version free for home usage was on CD  added do british
PC-Plus.
I've used this application since 2003 and its last one due to which I have
to use windows (in Virtualbox).
I have Kubuntu 9.10 with Wine 1.1.40 
Installation of Commence 2000 seems to be good, application starts with a sample
database, but dont work properly. Have no access to items (records).
