Hi List, Does anyone have experiences to relate on the various Asterisk-based PBX appliances out there? Like the Aastra 160, Digium S844i, etc. Do the Epygi Quadro and Grandstream GXE also use Asterisk? Thanks, Femi -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Don't forget the Vdex-40 from Technoco http://www.taa.com/products-vdex-40.html (uses the Druid embedded gui) Cheers, Dean ________________________________ From: asterisk-users-bounces at lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces at lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Femi Sent: Monday, 15 September 2008 8:22 AM To: 'Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion' Subject: [asterisk-users] PBX appliances Hi List, Does anyone have experiences to relate on the various Asterisk-based PBX appliances out there? Epygi is not using Asterisk For the Grandstream is am not 100% sure but i think it does not also. There are also the IP4 and IP8 (DSP based, Open hardware design), Warp from Pika (PowerPC) and the Vdex-40 from Technoco (Multi cpu, arm ) I have worked with Digium's appliance, IP4 and WARP. Shameless plug follows :) I will be speaking on Astricon about embedded devices/appliances and Asterisk, and i will have a number of embedded devices running our e-IPBX software and web interface on show at our booth #202. -- Stelios S. You can always build your own with Astlinux: http://www.astlinux.org/ One of our techs did - installed a digium PRI card and got it running on an E1 line. Not a lot of appliances will do that. Also, don't forget the Jazinga appliance, http://www.jazinga.com. If anyone is going to IT Expo and would like to meet us please let me know, we are going to have a couple of people there. --- Shidan Gouran On Mon, Sep 15, 2008 at 8:22 AM, Femi <adalemo at gmail.com> wrote:> Hi List, > > Does anyone have experiences to relate on the various Asterisk-based PBX > appliances out there? > > Like the Aastra 160, Digium S844i, etc. > > Do the Epygi Quadro and Grandstream GXE also use Asterisk? > > > > Thanks, > > Femi > > > > > > > > > > _______________________________________________ > -- Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com -- > > AstriCon 2008 - September 22 - 25 Phoenix, Arizona > Register Now: http://www.astricon.net > > asterisk-users mailing list > To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: > http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users >-------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
