wine users - Nov 2006 - Bug 1293 -- Internet Explorer does not install because of downloads

Hi,
I downloaded the patch for this bug, but I don't know what to do with
it.  Do I execute it, or what?

As you can read in the bug you mention, the patch you are talking about
has been applied long time ago. If you use a current version of Wine, it
is already patched and Internet Explorer will install without problem
(running it is another story).

Wine 0.9.11
