Hi all, after an uprade to new kernel 2.4.21-15.0.4.EL on my server appears a lot of these messages: EXT3-fs error (device sd(8,17)): ext3_free_blocks: bit already cleared for block 19268224 EXT3-fs error (device sd(8,17)): ext3_free_blocks: bit already cleared for block 19268225 EXT3-fs error (device sd(8,17)): ext3_free_blocks: bit already cleared for block 19268226 I try to rebuild array but at the 12% appears this message 3w-xxxx: scsi2: AEN: INFO: Rebuild started: Unit #0. 3w-xxxx: scsi2: AEN: ERROR: Drive error: Port #0. 3w-xxxx: scsi2: AEN: ERROR: Rebuild failed: Unit #0. I restarted again the rebuild but 3w-xxxx: scsi2: AEN: INFO: Rebuild started: Unit #0. 3w-xxxx: scsi2: Unit #0: Command (f7545c00) timed out, resetting card. Ok, I'm a solid Rock, I try to rebuild again but at the 68% the rebuild failed again.. Of course I checked RAM and HD and all is OK, I also changed the IDE cables. HW proliant ML370 G2 wtih 2 GB RAM 1 controller 3ware escalade 7000-6 2 HD Samsung 160GB RAID1 2 SCSI seagate cheetah 18GB SW RAID1 So, is this a Kernel bug ? Thank You, Maurizio
