Hi everyone, Is there a simple way of answering a different ringing extension from a sip phone using AAH? I have absolutely zero technical know-how when it comes to modifying conf files etc. Still working on figuring it all out. ;) That brings me to my second question... where the hell does one find an extensive manual of sorts that explains all conf files and what the strings all mean etc? Cheers All Mark

You need to go into the extensions setup and put the pickupgroup and callgroup to the same on both. That way when you hear the other extension ring you just dial *8 send and you can pickup the ringing phone call. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Mark Brown Sent: Wednesday, May 18, 2005 6:49 PM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: [Asterisk-Users] Pickup other ringing phone Hi everyone, Is there a simple way of answering a different ringing extension from a sip phone using AAH?
