asterisk users - Feb 2005 - "i" extension with invalid context

If I issue a "Goto" command to an invalid extension within a valid
context, then the "i" extension is invoked properly.

But, if I issue a "Goto" command to an invalid context, then no
"i"
extension appears to be invoked.

Is this intended behavior? How can I get it to go to "i" if the
context
being Goto'd is invalid?

Yes, that is expected behavior. The "i" extension is used for invalid 
extensions only.

I don't believe that there is a solution for that currently, other than 
to not do it in the first place :-)
