R help - Oct 2009 - Decreasing Sort Error Message

Can anybody tell me how to fix this error?

'decreasing' must be a length-1 logical vector.

so either TRUE or FALSE

 > array_down = sort(sort_array,decreasing = TRUE )

>> array_down = sort(sort_array,decreasing = 1)
