Hi. I think this is a bug: interlope# zfs get setuid tank NAME PROPERTY VALUE SOURCE tank setuid off local interlope# zfs snapshot tank at foo interlope# zfs get setuid tank at foo NAME PROPERTY VALUE SOURCE tank at foo setuid on default As you can see properties are not inherited (the same for ''exec'', etc.). It is also not possible to change properties for snapshots, so it''s quite dangerous: interlope# zfs set setuid=off tank at foo cannot set property for ''tank at foo'': snapshot properties cannot be modified PS. interlope# uname -a SunOS interlope 5.11 opensol-20070409 i86pc i386 i86pc -- Pawel Jakub Dawidek http://www.wheel.pl pjd at FreeBSD.org http://www.FreeBSD.org FreeBSD committer Am I Evil?
