Re: Can''t run a proprietary program on a xen domU : No such file or directory
Hi Nick, I finally found a very similar hardware/debian lenny amd64 but without xen and the problem is the same (No such file or directory). So i think this is not a xen problem. Perhaps a hardware problem ? Perhaps some features of the cpu are insufficient ... this is IBM HS22 and HS23 on a blade center H and they are not very old (2 and 3 years). Thank you Nick for your quick answer. Guy On 25/01/2013 18:45, Nick Couchman wrote:> The other host that you copy the file to - is it *identical* except for Xen? 64-bit? I don''t think it''s a hardware issue - I think it is likely some sort of library or software issue that isn''t readily apparent from the output of tools (ldd, etc.). -Nick>>> On 2013/01/25 at 11:32, Guy Roussin <guy.roussin@teledetection.fr> wrote: > Hi Nick, > > I finally found a very similar hardware/debian lenny amd64 but without xen > and the problem is the same (No such file or directory). > So i think this is not a xen problem. Thank you Nick, You give me the good way to proceed. I use : # strings /usr/local/MATLAB/R2012b/etc/glnxa64/lmhostid and the first line was : /lib64/ld-lsb-x86-64.so.3 so i create the link # cd /lib64 # ln -s ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 ld-lsb-x86-64.so.3 and bingo the program run fine now !!!
