Hi, Having an issue with an install of packaged XEN on squeeze. It has just been set into routed mode but now it wont start in xen mode. Getting these errors Restarting Xen daemons: xend/etc/xen/scripts/network-route: line 20: /etc/xen/scripts/hotplugpath.sh: No such file or directory /etc/xen/scripts/network-route: line 28: /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/eth/proxy_arp: No such file or directory /etc/xen/scripts/network-route: line 20: /etc/xen/scripts/hotplugpath.sh: No such file or directory /etc/xen/scripts/network-route: line 28: /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/eth/proxy_arp: No such file or directory xend/etc/xen/scripts/network-route: line 20: /etc/xen/scripts/hotplugpath.sh: No such file or directory /etc/xen/scripts/network-route: line 28: /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/eth/proxy_arp: No such file or directory /etc/xen/scripts/network-route: line 20: /etc/xen/scripts/hotplugpath.sh: No such file or directory /etc/xen/scripts/network-route: line 28: /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/eth/proxy_arp: No such file or directory /etc/xen/scripts/network-route: line 20: /etc/xen/scripts/hotplugpath.sh: No such file or directory / Someone mentioned it is a bug in xen-commons but I can''t seem to get to the bottom of it, any ideas? I don''t know what the scripts do in routed mode (I suspect still build a bridge, but not join physical interfaces to it), but they are commonly acknowledged to be unnecessarily complex for bridged mode and advice is to comment out any network-script. -- Simon Hobson Visit http://www.magpiesnestpublishing.co.uk/ for books by acclaimed author Gladys Hobson. No tried things manually but looking at the directory where it is looking for that file, it simply doesn''t exist. Ive also looked on another test system I built today and it is also missing from that so im guessing it is a bug in the package? I can''t use bridge mode in that particular DC where the server is because they port block when another mac address is detected on the same port making bridge mode useless :( Ian -----Original Message----- From: xen-users-bounces@lists.xensource.com [mailto:xen-users-bounces@lists.xensource.com] On Behalf Of Simon Hobson Sent: 10 August 2011 22:54 To: xen-users@lists.xensource.com Subject: Re: [Xen-users] xen 4 debian squeeze routed mode Ian Tobin wrote:>Having an issue with an install of packaged XEN on squeeze.
