[Xen-users] problem with online storage add - device stuck in state 3 until reboot
Hi all,
I''m having trouble online adding storage to my domU''s. running
Debian Lenny 2.6.26-2-xen-amd64 xen-utils-3.2-1. After I xm block-attach a new
LV device I go into the domU and fdisk -l doesn''t show the new device
until after I have rebooted the domU.
Here is what I see in the xend.log:

And when I check xm block-list for the device I see it in state 3, which is
initialized according to http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenStoreReference
Vdev BE handle state evt-ch ring-ref BE-path
2054 0 0 3 23 11 /local/domain/0/backend/vbd/42/2054
Can anyone help me figure out why this is and how to fix it so the device is
fully connected?
Thanks in advance,
Todd
