[Xen-users] Could xen start up the existed windows 7?
As the title I mentioned, does anyone succeed in starting up the existed windows
7 (installing in Hard-Disk physical partition) by xen?
I have found the similar issues, such as the
website
http://www.mycomputingart.com/linux/Z24.xen3-winxp-partition.html?seemore=y
This is the system what I have.
/dev/sda1: Linux
/dev/sdb1: Windows 7
(DomU configurations)
disk = [ ''phy=/dev/sdb,hda,w'' ]
boot = ''c''
I used the configurations to start up the existed windows 7 by "xm create
DomU.cfg" command, and I got this error messages "A problem has been
detected
and Windows has been
shut down to prevent damage to your computer".
Reference the method of the website, I thought this may be caused because of the
different hardwares.
But the "hardware profile" in windows 7 is knocked out.
Does anyone port existed windows 7 in the physical partition by xen?
Please give me some suggestions, thanks all.
