Thanks, Steve. I checked Xen Cloud Control System, but it''s not on line? I''m not sure if Xen Orchestra Project uses XAPI; I''m negative as far as I looked the code. The CloudStack Community Edition looks good (http://open.cloud.com), although it supports only libvirt as far as I understand. Since they support XenServer 5.6 in the Enterprise Edition, I think they can add XAPI support somehow. Even if XenCenter runs only on Windows, I think it should be useful if it can connect to XCP; it''s much easier to install from my experience. All the other ones assume particular distro of Linux, and they typically require many things to install. Hi all,
my experience is very similar to wangalalei’s.
OpenXenManager is really a good think but it is unstable. I have to restart
it after quite every operation. I was unable to install convirture 2.0 too.
Vern’s XCCP is really a good project, I think that it would be wonderful if
Vern will release a customized VM with all installed like XVP.
I think that XenCenter could be a very good solution, even if it runs only
on windows platform.
Cheers,
Francesco Gallo

Hello, for XCP, there is only usable solution and it si openxenmanager, but it is standalone application and lacks multiple users support and their privileges (administrator, operator (provisioning machines), guest (view only). The application often hangs or dies. I tried Convirt, it doesn`t looks like to support XCP, not even in Enterprise version. XCC site is down It would be nice if Convirt has XCP support, not only kvm/xen. r. Stephen:
Well, obviously I''m using XCCS, it being my baby and all :).
I''m
running a full scale public cloud with it and XCP here.
My goal with the combination, and the reason XCCS exists in the first
place, is to match or beat the big boys for cloud automation. It''s nice
to be able to beat Amazon, etc on price but if you can beat them on user
experience and functionality then all the better.
The next foray with XCP and XCCS is hosted infrastructure private clouds :).
