Hello, can this daemon be killed without too much risk and then restarted with /etc/init.d/xend restart ? Matthieu. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

It''s a recommend step to solve some types of problem (search the list archive). xenstored, however, can NOT be safely restarted. -- Fajar _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Although from "ldd", xenstored pretty much only depends on xen-libs and glibc. You need to restart anyway after upgrading those two, regardless whether xenstored can be safely restarted or not. -- Fajar _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
