Hey all, I''m currently using xen 4.0 and am getting the "Attempting to checksum a non-TCP/UDP packet, dropping a protocol 1 packet". This is from what i can tell also causing the machine to lock every so often causing the need for a hard reboot. According to the google (and other posts found here) I need to upgrade my kernel which i attempted to do. When I did that I then got the "conection refused error". My steps to updating to the newest version of xen were as follows. cd /downloads/ git clone git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/jeremy/xen.git linux-2.6-xen cd linux-2.6-x git checkout -b xen/stable origin/xen/stable and then build from there. Any idea what I can do to solve this? _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
Upgrading to 2.6.32.13 from the 2.6.32.13 tree solved this issue for me. Check the Makefile to see what version you are compiling. -Gerry Jun 18, 2010 12:55:10 PM, rgarrett@hostourweb.com wrote: Hey all, I''m currently using xen 4.0 and am getting the "Attempting to checksum a non-TCP/UDP packet, dropping a protocol 1 packet".
