Dear, How to move Xen-images (Dom-U) to another server? I have read Xen manual but not clear: "The former moves a virtual machine from one host to another by pausing it, copying its memory contents, and then RESUMING it on the destination." What steps are required to "RESUMING it on the destination"? However, you have to open the relocation server (config entry in the xend-config) to enable migration. Btw. if you pass the flag --live, the migration will be done "live", that means without noticable downtime of the VM. Hi, The doc is confuse, maybe I read wrong section. What do I want to do is migrate the Xen-image (a file named client01.img) to another server. Any idea how to do it? Do you by any chance just want to have the guest running on another Xen host? You can just copy the image and config file for that ... B.
