That''s the way it works. What you''re looking for is probably "xm new" plus "xm start". -- Fajar _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Do you use "xm create" to create VM? try "xm new" to add VM to xend, and "xm start vmname" 发件人: Seila Garcia <seila.garcia@ran.es> 发送时间: 2010-01-08 20:46 主 题: [Xen-users] Why when destroy a guest it causes guest deletion? 收件人: "xen-users@lists.xensource.com" <xen-users@lists.xensource.com> Hi, i want to stop VMs, but when i execute xm destroy vmname the VM disappears completly from mu vm list (xm list) How can I stop them without delete them? thanks very much --__=_Part_Boundary_002_008484.031479 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML dir=ltr><HEAD> <STYLE type=text/css> <!--@import url(C:\Program Files\Netease\网易闪电邮\\data\scrollbar.css); --></STYLE> <META content="text/html; charset=utf-8" http-equiv=Content-Type> <STYLE title=owaParaStyle>P { MARGIN-TOP: 0px; MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0px } p{margin:0px;padding:0px;}; </STYLE> <BASE target=_blank> <META name=GENERATOR content="MSHTML 8.00.6001.18854"></HEAD> <BODY style="BORDER-RIGHT-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-TOP-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-BOTTOM-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-LEFT-WIDTH: 0px" topMargin=10 ocsi="x" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0"> <DIV><FONT size=2 face=Verdana>Do you use "xm create" to create VM?</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2 face=Verdana>try "xm new" to add VM to xend, and "xm start vmname"</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> <HR> </DIV> <DIV>发件人: Seila Garcia <seila.garcia@ran.es></DIV> <DIV>发送时间: 2010-01-08 20:46</DIV> <DIV>主 题: [Xen-users] Why when destroy a guest it causes guest deletion?</DIV> <DIV>收件人: "xen-users@lists.xensource.com" <xen-users@lists.xensource.com></DIV> <DIV><BR><BR></DIV> <DIV dir=ltr><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Tahoma>Hi, i want to stop VMs, but when i execute</FONT></DIV> <DIV dir=ltr><FONT size=2 face=tahoma></FONT> </DIV> <DIV dir=ltr><FONT size=2 face=tahoma>xm destroy vmname</FONT></DIV> <DIV dir=ltr><FONT size=2 face=tahoma></FONT> </DIV> <DIV dir=ltr><FONT size=2 face=tahoma>the VM disappears completly from mu vm list (xm list)</FONT></DIV> <DIV dir=ltr><FONT size=2 face=tahoma></FONT> </DIV> <DIV dir=ltr><FONT size=2 face=tahoma>How can I stop them without delete them?</FONT></DIV> <DIV dir=ltr><FONT size=2 face=tahoma></FONT> </DIV> <DIV dir=ltr><FONT size=2 face=tahoma>thanks very much</FONT></DIV></BODY></HTML> --__=_Part_Boundary_002_008484.031479-- --===============2050841990=Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users --===============2050841990==--
