Hello, As already posted in December, I have the same problem like reporded by DS <spacelink@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> and described in http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2006-12/msg00319.html - this has been following problem:>I have been trying to install 64-bit Windows Server 2003 from CD on 64-bitXen>3.0.3, but the guest system hangs around the time when the installer asksfor>the product key. The system has a Intel Core 2 Duo CPU with VT enabled, and I>was able to install 32-bit Windows Server 2003 on the same system. > >Is this a known problem? Do I need to use the unstable version of Xen? > >Any help or pointer will be appreciated.Did somebody solve this problem? In the thread there are no answers to this problem... I think, this could be something with the service, which is starting on windows server on the background, because sometimes if I waited for a longer time, the installation has frozen already in the masks before (in the mask for the user nad comapny name or directly in the first wizard mask for the specification of locales) - it happens randomly. No idea. Second theory could be this is some problem with the virtual device - but what problem? I tried a lot of changes in the configuration file, but nothing helped. There is only very rudimentary documentation which I found to the structure of the configuration file. I do not why, but the manual for xen 3.0.3 which I use has not been installed on my ubuntu after the xen installation, so if somebody could point me to the full documentation and not only to the rudiments officially downloadable, this would be also very helpful for me. Any help would be really really appreciated. Thank You. Archie. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

It may of course STILL be broken, but it''s definitely possible that it''s been fixes added that solves the problem. [I haven''t tried any of the above on AMD or Intel machines - so I can''t say]. -- Mats> > Any help would be really really appreciated. > > Thank You. Hello, Thank You very much. After the installation of xen 3.0.4-1 it works correctly :-) Great!
