new ideas from your scripts.
I got kernel compiled, but not with rpmbuild. Do you know how to build rpm
packages with the patch ?

Yes. Please see the posts from me in the xen-devellist (subject of
"Network-bridge script with bonding and vlan"). The main issue for me
was TX
checksum offload support on Intel pro/1000 based NIC''s.
