Xen users - Jan 2006 - Creation of Guest VM problem

Hi all,

I got this error when i am trying to create guest VM using config file  
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(8,8)

I have used the following enteries in the config file:
disk = [ ''phy:sda8,sda8,w'' ]
root = "/dev/sda8"

Fdisk and df results:

/dev/sda6             9.7G  5.5G  3.8G  59% /
/dev/sda5              99M   37M   58M  39% /boot
/dev/shm              225M     0  225M   0% /dev/shm
/dev/sda7             9.7G  1.2G  8.1G  13% /home

/dev/sda1               1           5       40131   12  Compaq diagnostics
/dev/sda2   *           6         770     6144862+   7  HPFS/NTFS
/dev/sda3             771        1031     2096482+   7  HPFS/NTFS

/dev/sda5            1032        1044      104391   83  Linux
/dev/sda6            1045        2349    10482381   83  Linux
/dev/sda7            2350        3654    10482381   83  Linux

Kindly sugguest something to proceed further.

Isn''t the /dev/sda8 your swap device? I don''t think you have
your domU''s setup
