As another list member wrote - do a test install on a machine that
matches well. Hardware issues may prevent Xen from booting and in that
case you may be totally hosed. Been there myself - was doing an install
from home, built a wrong dom0 kernel and did not get the server up again
until the following monday. My best bet would be to build Xen from
source (don''t need neither X nor a CD) making sure that you have the
correct hardware support compiled into the dom0 kernel before you boot.

If I remember correctly, if you were using grub you would be able to
select a boot entry "once", meaning that this entry will be booted
next
time and subsequent boots will use the normal default entry. Don''t know
if Lilo has that capability.

Anyway; Best case: Have someone on call to press the power button and
boot a working kernel in case the new Xen kernel fails to boot :-).

Booting into Xen is AFAIK just like booting into a new Linux kernel, so
I don''t see why lilo shouldn''t work just as well as grub.
