Hello all, Can Xen (2.0 testing) use over 4GB of RAM on a 32 bit platform? I guess you can''t give a single domain more than 4GB, but can you have multiple domains which add up to more than 4GB? If no, then do I have a shot at 64 bits with a Xeon EM64T CPU? -- Jussi Hämäläinen +358 3 3551 8086 University of Tampere System administrator +358 50 5900641 Computer Centre ccjuha@uta.fi TietoPinni 4166 http://www.uta.fi/laitokset/tkk _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

You might want to try out xen-unstable now - it''s in pre-release stabilisation at the moment, so it should be fairly usable. Good thing I asked before going off to buy lots of RAM. :)> You might want to try out xen-unstable now - it''s in pre-release > stabilisation at the moment, so it should be fairly usable.I''ll give that a whirl on my testing box (which unfortunately doesn''t have lots and lots of RAM). Thanks for the info, though. -- Jussi Hämäläinen +358 3 3551 8086 University of Tampere System administrator +358 50 5900641 Computer Centre ccjuha@uta.fi TietoPinni 4166 http://www.uta.fi/laitokset/tkk _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
